Membership of the Astronomy Centre is offered to all ages. Members have access to all currently available equipment at times when the observatory is staffed, free advice, newsletters and news bulletins admittance to annual star parties and access to the interactive section of this Internet website.
Types of Membership
- Individual membership is £15 per year, renewable on March 31.
- Family membership is £30 per year. Family membership is cost effective for any more than two people at the same address.
- Associate membership (societies, organisations, schools etc.) is also available, details on request.
- Single visits to the Observatory by the general public cost £2 per person (£1 for children and concessions).
While the majority of our members are probably located within 90 miles of the centre, we enjoy support for our aims from around the world, including a member on the island of Hawaii!
Donations or sponsorship are welcome at any time, and may be made to specific areas or projects.
